New York Red Sox?

1) The Yankees just got Johnny Damon
2) The Yankees are thinking about Nomar
3) The Mets are getting Manny Ramirez
4) Last year, the Mets got Pedro

So are all the Red Sox gonna slowly move one by one to NY? Will Johnny Damon shave and cut his hair? He looks kinda scary.

OMG! Why are they putting Damon ahead of Jeter?! He's been on the team since forever ago! And he's such a good player and a good person. He's always the first one out of the dugout to congratulate the person who comes around home plate. He has seniority! Why is he getting bumped for a former enemy?!?! Not Right!

Dude, maybe they'll bring the Queer Eye back to actually cut his hair instead of just buying him new clothes. He's gonna look mad hot in pinstripes and when we sit in the bleachers we are going to stare at his tushy.

They're getting Damon so he can bat first. They didn't want Jeter to bat first. Damon's fast so if he gets on base he's more likely to score. Now the yankees have a leadoff guy-- and the Red Sox need a leadoff guy. :-(. Babaganouch with herring and cottage cheese wrapped in old grape leaves.

A few other notes:
I think the most coveted spot for hitters in the major leagues in 4th ("cleanup"). So if 3 people get on base, you can knock them all in. Also, odds are someone will get on base before you, and then you get up with someone on. I'm guessing that batting 3rd is a close second.
Also:
The Red Sox will pay Coco Crisp (Johhny Damon's replacement) $2.75 million for 2006. I couldn't believe it was so little. Damon would have wanted $11.5 million to stay with the Red Sox (but got $13 million from the Yankees). And he's 26. But yeah, Johnny Damon's still good....
